INFORMATION

  • There are accessible parking spaces in all public car parks around Longton town centre, although these may become occupied throughout the day.

Longton is a town centre with kerbs, uneven footpaths and some inclines/declines. The whole site is on tarmac, brick or slabs. There are ramp options near steps and dropped kerbs for access. The main road, The Strand, will be closed for most of the day for ease of pedestrian access and for entertainment and the parade.

There will be an accessible toilet with the portaloos as indicated on the site map. Accessible toilets are also available at The Coffee House and in Tesco.

A quiet space will be accessible for anyone who needs it and will be indicated on the site map. Stewards will be able to direct you to the quiet space.

The busiest audience viewing is during the parade. If you are struggling to view, it is likely to be less busy towards the top of The Strand (towards the roundabout). Stewards will be able to direct you.

    Assistance dogs are welcome.
